The wet hopper is designed for pre-soaking produce with air agitation to softer soil and acts as a buffer for constant flow. The produce enters the wet hopper through options like hopper, conveyor, or destoner and floats towards the outlet conveyor via a pump that creates water flow. While dirt sinks to the bottom of the wet hopper. Depending on the soil type, built-in air agitation cleans or pre-cleans the produce.
The standard machine is supplied with a stainless steel AISI304 frame, and bearings and drive/idle rollers are of mild steel.
